Magma Phone Concept Can Operate with 4 Sims

Dual SIM phones are all the rage now and even handsets that can hold 3 SIM cards have turned up, but 4 sims is something extremely rare, if not a never tried before idea. Inspired by fire, the Magma phone was designed by Amit Vagyani and it features a keypad and touchscreen display.

Magma Phone
Among its specs there’s up to 40GB extendable memory support, a 5 megapixel camera with 8x optical zoom, Bluetooth, infrared, Wi-Fi, twin CDMA and GSM. Its battery lasts 12 hours in active talk mode and this Magma handset measures 100 x 49 x 16 mm, weighing 60 grams. Who’s going to make a 5 SIM device?

Sony Ericsson EF208 Game Terminator, the PSP Phone You’ve Been Waiting for

This Sony Ericsson concept is not, by any means new, as its design follows the trends of the year 2004, or 2005, but still this a hot concept of (maybe) PSP Phone. Dubbed the EF 208, this “Game Terminator” is a Sony Ericsson phone/console for gamers, that features a wide touchscreen, a camera and game controls.

I can see a fighting game on its screen and it’s surely not Tekken… Any ideas?

Concept Smartphone for Ladies, Designed by Aleix Ingles Elias

After seeing a beautiful smartphone designed by Aleix Ingles Elias, which pretty much looked like a HTC device, we have a look at another concept created by the designer: a business female phone. Keeping some of the design traits of the previous device, this concept phone uses soft shapes and comes with intuitive interface commands and a pad with minimal visual buttons.

The handset incorporates a “generous touch display” and a QWERTY physical keyboard, while the shell of the phone has a metallic feel. The keypad is all rubbery and the back of the device is adorned with soft touch black rubber, for a better tactile experience.

FMWebschool released a new version of Battleship2Go for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch. Battleship2Go is an exciting game of strategy that can be enjoyed by everyone. Place secret mines on your enemies board before the game begins making it more difficult to avoid a direct hit. Explosions vibrate your iPhone. You’ll feel like your fleets safety is in your hands as you monitor the live radar and and try to outmaneuver your opponents.

One of the great things about Battleship2Go is that it is extremely simple to set up, and you can play anywhere. Got a few minutes to kill? Quickly start a game against the computer. Want to play against a friend, that’s easy too! You can even play against other players on the other side of the globe.

Battleship2Go’s interface also adds fun to the game. Watch the live radar as it flashes a live swath across the screen, giving you a blow by blow view of the action. The computer scroller sends messages to you as well keeping you updated to your enemies progress.

Battleship2Go is available through the App Store for $3.99 or 2.99€.

OLO PC Integrates an iPhone, What About New MacBooks?

Well, Apple’s got a MacBook-related announcement on October 14th (Tuesday), while NVIDIA will probably showcase new graphical chipsets for the same notebooks on Wednesday, but Monday is also a day you’d want to remember. Turns out it’ll be the day when the iPhone meets your portable PC and it’s there to stay… embedded in the device.
OLO PC

Or so claims OLO, a company that plans to launch a netbook that can incorporate your iPhone beneath its keyboard, right in the spot where you’d usually find a touchpad. OLO announced that it’ll launch this device on Monday, October 13th, but for now their netbook looks like a bad Photoshop… What do you make of it?

Nokia Touchscreen Smartphone Coming Soon! N Series and N-Gage Involved

We’ve got two sources of information that claim we’ll soon see a Nokia N Series touchscreen handset and that on October 13th the Finns will reveal something N-Gage-based. On the one hand, Nokia officials recently claimed (during an event held in New Delhi) that N Series touchscreen devices are coming and on the other hand, the Nokia Blog got an invitation to the 13th October Nokia event.

There’s an N-Gage reference in the invitation so… could it be (I can’t even dare to think) a touchscreen console? Or just another achievement of this great gaming software platform?
