Palm and Rogers Wireless today announced the Canadian launch of the Palm Centro smartphone available at Rogers Wireless. The Centro is Palm’s smallest and lightest smartphone and has sold more than one million units worldwide.

“Traditional cell phone users are stepping up the Palm Centro in droves because of its cool design, full keyboard and ease of use,” said Brodie Keast, senior vice president of marketing for Palm, Inc. “More and more people need voice, text, email, web, contact and calendar capabilities all wrapped in one compact device so they can stay connected with everyone who is important to them. Centro delivers all that and more.”

With the F305 your favourite game is only one-click away. Enjoy the full gaming experience with stereo speakers, which also come in handy for sharing the latest track on the media player. The Sony Ericsson F305 will pre-loaded with three motion games, “Bowling”, “Bass fishing” and “Jockey”. Additional motion games developed by Gameloft plus 50 more 2D and 3D games available for download at PlayNow. It also allows you to play games in Horizontal mode, however, only supported games will switch to this mode automatically. Not only it has a 8.1 megapixel camera, the camera is complete with Xenon flash, auto focus, face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilizer. 2GB memory stick micro is included in the package together with the 160MB built in memory, good enough to store your photos.
